What Lodestar does

Lodestar AI is a prerelease AI operations hub. It ingests your email (Gmail and Outlook), calendar, cloud files (Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint), and messages (Slack and Teams), then enriches that raw data with structured intelligence: action items with evidence links, contact sentiment trends, org charts, project timelines, and a Today command center.

The result is a persistent, up-to-date operating picture of your work — clients, projects, commitments, and relationships — that your AI assistant can actually read and act on.

The context layer concept

Every time you open Claude or ChatGPT without Lodestar, you paste your situation into the chat from scratch. The model is capable; the memory isn't there. Lodestar is the memory layer.

Connect Lodestar to your preferred AI via the MCP server and the assistant gains continuous access to your full operating picture. It stops being a stateless chatbot and becomes an operator that knows your clients, your calendar, and your open commitments.

Today command center

The Today view is your daily starting point. It surfaces what actually needs your attention — overdue items, meetings without prep, threads waiting on you — ranked by urgency, not inbox volume. From Today you can jump directly into any action, thread, or brief.

MCP server

The Lodestar MCP server exposes your context to any MCP-compatible AI: Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, and others. The server provides read tools (pull your dashboard, emails, files, calendar, sentiment) and action tools (create follow-ups, draft replies, update items, log timeline events).

This means your AI can do the next step — not just advise on it.

Prerelease status

Lodestar is currently in prerelease with a limited cohort of early access members. Features described in these docs reflect the current prerelease build and the planned GA release. Anything not yet shipped is clearly marked.
